Tarte Flush Amazonian Clay Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

Tarte Flush Amazonian Clay Blush ($26.00 for 0.20 oz.) is described as a "deep berry" but I would describe it as a brightened magenta.  Flush has a matte finish which provides the cheeks with a natural wind-blown appearance.  Your cheeks instantly look as though you've just come inside from a cold winter's day.

The pigmentation of this blush is simply amazing.  I swatched it in store and couldn't believe how much product I got with just one swipe!  This shade does look a bit intimidating in the pan and a little goes a very long way.  I've been using a duo-fiber/stippling brush to apply Flush and the results are beautiful.  It only takes one tap in the pan and there's enough product for one cheek.  The product is exceptionally smooth and easy to blend which is great when you're using a shade as pigmented as this.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes are quite popular in the blogger and You-Tube community so I'm sure most of you are familiar with them.  For those of you who are less familiar, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes are infused with nutrient rich ingredients including Vitamins A, E, and C which act to balance the skin and minimize oil.  Tarte claims that these blushes are suitable for all skin tones and last for up to 12 hours.

Unfortunately, Flush did not last 12 hours on me.  I got about 8 hours of wear before I noticed that the product had began to fade.  For comparison, MAC blushes last just over 6 hours on me.  Other than the fact that Flush didn't last as long as Tarte claimed it would, I was quite impressed with the product overall.  The pigmentation is amazing and it did last longer than most blushes that I've tried.  I'm definitely planning on picking up a few more shades.  Have you tried Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes? I'd love to hear your recommendations!
