Benefit Bella Bamba Blush ($28.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a shimmering watermelon pink with a subtle golden sheen. If you're wondering about the packaging, the product in the photos is a 0.10 oz. sample I picked up from Sephora with my Beauty Insider Points. The closest dupe that I have to Bella Bamba is theBalm Hot Mama! Blush. Hot Mama! is more coral while Bella Bamba is more pink, however, the texture and color payoff is identical. Each blush also contains that gorgeous golden sheen. Check out the comparison swatches at the end of this post.
Bella Bamba is smooth in texture and easy to blend. It's a medium pink and it should work well on both warm and cool skin tones. I usually don't gravitate toward shimmery blushes because I like to highlight with a shimmer product, but I had been wanting to try this shade for a while because I own Benefit Dallas Blush and absolutely love it. Bella Bamba is not the most natural blush in the world, but it's the perfect shade to brighten your face and add a pretty flush to your cheeks.
My only complaint with Bella Bamba is its staying power. Dallas lasts all day on my cheeks and I was expecting/hoping Bella Bamba would perform just as well. Unfortunately, I only got about 6 hours of wear before I noticed that the color had started to fade from my cheeks. The great thing about this little sample is that it's so small and would easily fit into my pocket for touch-ups! Have you tried any of Benefit's Box-O-Powders?
